Position: Senior Credit Review Officer (Internal/External)

The Bank seeks to strengthen its Credit Risk Management Division by hiring a qualified and experienced professional.

Job Objective

The Senior Credit Review Officer will support the Bank’s credit risk management function through the effective review, assessment, and monitoring of loan portfolios across all branches. The position plays a critical role in ensuring prudent lending practices and maintaining a sound credit portfolio.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Identify gaps in underwriting, approval, monitoring, relationship management, and credit administration processes.
Provide professional consultation to lending and credit personnel, auditors, and regulatory examiners.
Ensure consistent application of firm-wide Credit Review policies and procedures.
Identify loans with potential credit weaknesses and trends that may affect collectability.
Develop, implement, and oversee risk-based credit review programs for all loan portfolios.
Identify existing and emerging issues related to credit quality and risk concentration.
Prepare detailed risk assessment and loan review reports for both financial and non-financial activities and submit to the Risk and Compliance Division Manager.

Educational Qualification and Experience

Master’s Degree or BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
Experience:
- 3 years (for Master’s Degree) or 5 years (for BA Degree) of relevant banking experience,
- Of which 2 years must be as a Credit Review Officer or equivalent role.

Required Skills and Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent understanding of credit risk principles and banking operations.
Ability to identify and assess loan portfolio risks.
Good report writing and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools.
Strong account management and organizational abilities.
