The Customer Service Officer I is responsible for providing front-office customer service support at the branch level. The role involves handling account maintenance, payment and collection transactions, responding to customer inquiries, and managing both cash and non-cash customer requests in line with the bank’s policies and procedures.

• Provide efficient front-office customer service at the branch
• Handle account maintenance activities
• Process payment and collection transactions
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve basic issues
• Handle cash and non-cash transactions accurately
• Ensure compliance with bank procedures and service standards

🎓 Qualification Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Banking and Insurance
  • Accounting
  • Management
  • Economics
  • Business Administration
  • or other related fields

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in a bank

🛠 Required Competencies & Skills

• Good understanding of basic financial products and services
• Knowledge of bank accounting systems and procedures
• Ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve routine issues
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good working knowledge of core banking systems
• Accounting knowledge
