Dashen Bank – Adama District is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Customer Service Officer (Maker/Checker) for various branches under the district.

Job Summary

Customer Service Officer (Maker):
Responsible for front-office customer support at the branch, including:

Account maintenance
Processing payment and collection transactions
Handling cash and non-cash transactions
Responding to customer requests and enquiries
Delivering frontline customer service in line with bank policies

Customer Service Officer (Checker):
Responsible for authorization and verification of front-office activities, including:

Checking/approving account maintenance, payments, and collections
Authorizing cash and non-cash transactions
Ensuring compliance with procedures and authorization limits
Responding to customer enquiries and supporting branch operations

About You

Academic & Professional Qualifications

BA Degree in Marketing Management, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Functional / Technical Competencies

Good understanding of financial products and services
Solid knowledge of bank accounting and operational procedures
Ability to handle client enquiries and provide appropriate solutions
Strong Microsoft Office skills and good command of the core banking system
