Position: Trainer (Projects)

Position Overview / Scope of Role

The Trainer (Projects) is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for skilled and semi-skilled labor across all project sites. The role focuses on improving productivity, identifying skill gaps, and strengthening workforce capability through effective training and coaching.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and identify skill gaps across all project sites
• Liaise with the Training Coordinator / Training & Capability Manager and HR teams to design and implement training programs
• Design and develop training curricula and schedules for skilled and semi-skilled labor
• Deliver trainings using appropriate methods such as:
  • Face-to-face sessions
  • Practical and simulated training
  • Mentoring and on-the-job training
• Prepare evaluation and assessment exams for trainees at the end of training sessions
• Ensure trainings are conducted efficiently and cost-effectively, maximizing use of internal resources
• Maintain updated training databases and records
• Conduct site assessments across projects and share improvement recommendations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related fields
• More than 3 years of experience working as a Trainer
• Additional Diploma in TVET Training is an added advantage
