Job Overview

The Diaspora Engagement & IT Support Officer will lead diaspora mobilization initiatives, manage the organization’s digital presence, and provide essential IT support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to engage and mobilize diaspora communities
Manage and grow organizational social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Design and execute digital advertising and online campaigns
Create engaging digital content tailored for diverse audiences and diaspora networks
Monitor analytics and prepare reports on digital outreach performance
Provide basic IT support to staff, including:
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Maintaining office IT systems and basic networking support

Qualifications & Requirements

Degree in Information Technology, Communications, or related field
Proven experience in:
- Social media management
- Diaspora engagement or digital outreach
Strong IT support and troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, basic networking)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
