United Beverages Share Company External Vacancy Announcement

Position 1: Sales Executive

📍 Location: Addis Ababa (with assignment to different parts of Ethiopia as required)

Main Purpose

To increase sales volume within the assigned territory, achieve growth targets, enhance market competitiveness, and build strong relationships with customers and consumers while monitoring competitor activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve 100% of assigned sales targets through daily execution
  • Visit a minimum of 25 outlets per day based on the approved route plan
  • Maintain and regularly update outlet data (active, temporarily closed, permanently closed)
  • Ensure timely submission of weekly and monthly journey plans
  • Conduct early morning deliveries and night market visits (minimum 3 nights/week)
  • Build and maintain strong customer and consumer relationships
  • Ensure proper utilization and positioning of company assets (fridges, POS materials)
  • Negotiate outlet visibility and placement of promotional materials
  • Prospect and onboard new Points of Sale (POS)
  • Monitor competitor activities and report market insights
  • Distribute promotional materials professionally and keep records
  • Prepare and submit outlet activation, fixed asset, and delivery reports
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the Area Sales Manager

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • BA Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related fields
  • 0–2 years (or more) of experience in sales, marketing, or related areas
  • Good understanding of field sales operations
  • Valid driving license (minimum 2nd grade) with driving experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Position 2: Route-to-Market (RTM) Specialist

Main Responsibility

To design, optimize, and execute distribution strategies ensuring United Beverages’ products reach the right customers at the right time and cost. The role supports market penetration, execution excellence, distributor partnerships, and data-driven sales decisions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize Route-to-Market (RTM) strategies
  • Conduct trade census and retail audits
  • Maintain accurate outlet and market data through regular data cleansing
  • Provide sales support through actionable insights
  • Strengthen distributor and retailer relationships
  • Support sales strategy through market analysis and reporting

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, Logistics, or related fields
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an FMCG company (sales or distribution-related role preferred)
  • Proficiency in GIS tools
  • Strong data management, analysis, and reporting skills
  • Experience with SAP is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry tools
