1. Livelihood Officer
Location: Gambella (11 districts)
Purpose: Implement resilience-focused livelihood interventions for vulnerable communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilize and engage communities using participatory approaches.
- Facilitate target selection, registration, and documentation of operations.
- Provide technical support and capacity building in sustainable agriculture, market development, financial inclusion, and nutrition.
- Support development of on-farm and off-farm enterprises, particularly for women and youth.
- Collect field data and contribute to project reports, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing.
- Build relationships with local leaders, government, and community organizations.
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc Degree in Rural Development, Agroeconomics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years’ field-level experience in:
- Climate-smart agriculture
- Resilient rural livelihoods
- Financial inclusion & market development in INGO contexts
- Experience in community-led interventions, nutrition, degraded land management, advocacy, and scaling up programs.
Preferred Skills
- Model self-management, leadership, and organizational development.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of English and local languages is advantageous.

2. Resilience Project Manager – WFP
Location: Gambella
Purpose: Lead operational aspects of resilience projects focusing on financial inclusion, skills development, climate-smart agriculture, and local value chain strengthening.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project implementation to strengthen community resilience.
- Oversee climate-resilient and nutrition-sensitive mixed farming interventions.
- Manage budgets, resources, and field operations efficiently.
- Supervise staff and coordinate with MEAL, Finance, and Project Officers.
- Engage with stakeholders, partners, and government for inclusive, community-driven programming.
- Lead monitoring, evaluation, evidence collection, and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and capacity building to staff and partners.
- Support resource mobilization and donor engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- MSc Degree in Rural Development, Agricultural Economics, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in technical project coordination and management in INGO or humanitarian contexts.
- Proven experience in climate-smart agriculture, community resilience, rural livelihoods, and value chain development.
- Strong financial management, evidence-based programming, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and report writing skills in English; Amharic required.
- Willingness to work in field locations with frequent travel.

3. Supply Chain Administrator
Location: Gambella
Purpose: Execute procurement and supply chain activities for emergency response and project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement cycles from planning to delivery according to World Vision policies.
- Conduct market research, supplier identification, sourcing, and evaluation.
- Prepare price analyses and submit for procurement committee review.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, monitor supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Support warehouse, distribution, and inventory management.
Qualifications & Experience
- BA Degree in Procurement & Supplies Management, Business Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in development or emergency response procurement in an INGO.
- Strong knowledge of procurement standards, contract management, and supplier relations.
- Ability to travel at short notice and work flexible hours during emergencies.
