🎯 Position Objective

The Senior Grant Reporting Officer is responsible for coordinating and ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant donor reporting across the country programme. The role supports strong coordination between programme teams, implementing partners, headquarters, and donors to ensure quality reporting and documentation of programme achievements.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Grant Reporting & Compliance

Lead preparation and submission of high-quality donor reports
Ensure compliance with donor agreements and reporting schedules
Maintain grant tracking systems and reporting calendars
Review donor agreements to ensure understanding of contractual obligations

Coordination & Engagement

Work closely with programme teams, finance, MEAL units, and partners
Liaise with HQ Global Partnership and Resource Mobilization teams
Maintain communication with donors regarding reporting requirements
Support partners in strengthening their reporting capacity

Documentation & Delivery

Maintain documentation of reports, grant agreements, and amendments
Track reporting deadlines and ensure timely submission
Participate in programme review meetings and coordination platforms
Document programme achievements, results, and lessons learned

🎓 Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in:

International Relations
International Law
Development Studies
Social Sciences
Public Administration
Language Studies
Related fields

💼 Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in:
- Grant management
- Donor reporting
- Programme coordination
- Work within INGOs or international development organizations

🧠 Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of donor reporting requirements and guidelines
Good understanding of project cycle management
Excellent proposal writing and reporting skills
Experience working with major donors such as:
- USAID
- EU
- ECHO
- BPRM
- DANIDA
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
