Position: Junior Accountant (Female Only)

Job Purpose: To support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and Ethiopian tax regulations.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
• Location: Addis Ababa (Nifas Silk Lafto Sub-City).
• Mandatory Requirement: This position is open to female applicants only who reside in or near Nifas Silk Lafto Sub-City.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Recording: Record daily transactions and maintain organized documentation.
• Documentation: Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
• Tax Compliance: Support monthly tax filings including VAT, Withholding Tax, and Payroll Tax.
• Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations.
• Audit Support: Provide required documentation for internal and external audits.
• Administrative Support: Perform other finance-related administrative duties as assigned.

Required Competencies

• Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and Ethiopian tax laws.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel).
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and high integrity/confidentiality.
• Work Ethic: Willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively within a team.
