Cheshire Ethiopia is a local, independent non-profit organization and registered Ethiopian Resident Charity that has provided orthopedic and social rehabilitation services for children and young people with disabilities since 1962. The organization plays a leading role in the physical rehabilitation of persons with disabilities across Ethiopia.

Cheshire Ethiopia is looking for qualified, dynamic individuals to fill several open positions at its Hawassa Rehabilitation Center.

Open Positions & Specifications

1. Junior Druggist (For Fresh Graduates)

• Education: Diploma or BSc Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized college or university.
• Experience: 0 years of experience.
• License Requirement: Must possess a valid, renewed professional license.
• Duty Station: Hawassa Rehabilitation Center.

2. Optometrist

• Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience.
• License Requirement: Must possess a valid, renewed professional license.
• Duty Station: Hawassa Rehabilitation Center.

3. Ophthalmic Nurse

• Education: BSc Degree in Nursing or a related field, paired with a Diploma in Ophthalmic Nursing.
• Experience: 2 years and above of experience with demonstrated practical skills in eye care services.
• Duty Station: Hawassa Rehabilitation Center.

4. Assistant Optical Technician (For Fresh Graduates)

• Education: High school completion paired with one year of specialized training as an optical technician.
• Experience: 0 years of experience, but must possess foundational skills in eye care services.
• Duty Station: Hawassa Rehabilitation Center.

5. Clinical Nurse

• Education: BSc Degree in Nursing or a related field, paired with a Diploma in Ophthalmic Nursing.
• Experience: 2 years and above of experience with demonstrated practical skills in eye care services.
• Duty Station: Hawassa Rehabilitation Center.
