Shabelle Bank is a fully licensed Commercial Bank in Ethiopia conducting all of its operations under the principles of Islamic banking. Originally established as a microfinance institution in 2011, Shabelle Bank subsequently secured a commercial banking license to offer ethical financial products alongside digital and customer-convenience banking solutions.

Open Core Technology Positions
1. Cloud and System Administrator Officer

- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience Required: 1 to 3 years of systems administration experience.
- Technical Competencies:
- Mandatory strong knowledge of Linux and Unix-based systems administration, specifically Oracle Solaris, Ubuntu, CentOS, and RedHat.
- Familiarity with enterprise virtualization tech (VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle LDOM, Nutanix) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Telecloud).
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- Robust understanding and working experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) architectures.
2. Database Administrator Officer

- Experience Required: 1 to 3 years of direct database administration experience.
- Desired Certifications: Professional credentials such as Database Administration certificates, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or equivalent indicators are highly desirable.
3. Senior Network Administrator Officer (Internal/External)

- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 4 years of core network administration experience, with proven seniority in network administration roles.
- Technical Certifications & Skills:
- Cisco certified profile (CCNA/CCNP) or an industry equivalent.
- Network security certifications, such as Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, or similar credentials.
- Practical experience operating inside Microsoft Windows Server Administration environments.
