Ethio-Leather Industry PLC (ELICO), established in August 1997, is a premier leather processing and footwear manufacturing enterprise in Ethiopia. The company encompasses four major specialized operational units: Awash Tannery, Ethio Pickling (Abyssinia Tannery), Universal Leather Products Factory, and Tikurabay Shoe Factory.

ELICO is currently seeking competent, driven, and qualified professionals to fill the following technical positions at its production facilities in Addis Ababa.

Open Positions & Specifications

1. Production Control Officer

• Department: Production & Operations
• Location: Addis Ababa
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution in Leather Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a closely related industrial engineering field; OR a specialized Certificate in Leather Technology.
• Experience Required: 0 to 2 years of experience (Fresh graduates with a relevant degree/diploma or certified leather technicians are eligible to apply).

2. Maintenance Planning & Follow-up Officer

• Department: Engineering & Plant Maintenance
• Location: Addis Ababa
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related industrial engineering discipline.
• Experience Required: Minimum of 4 years of relevant, progressive experience in maintenance planning, asset management, maintenance coordination, or industrial equipment management. Direct operational experience inside a manufacturing or heavy processing plant environment is highly preferred.
