Open Positions
1. Branch Manager II
- Place of Work: Dire Dawa Branch
- Reports To: Branch Coordination and Monitoring Manager
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Option 1: Master’s Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or related business fields with a minimum of 7 years of progressive working experience, of which at least 2 years must be in a managerial role.
- Option 2: B.A. Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or related business fields with a minimum of 9 years of progressive working experience, of which at least 2 years must be in a managerial role.
- Required Competencies & Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of business practices, financial management, and corporate financial policies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate, motivate, and direct subordinates.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control all operational and business activities of the branch.
- Ensure strict enforcement of applicable policies, procedures, labor laws, collective agreements, and internal HR regulations.
- Prepare annual work plans and budget proposals; ensure optimal utilization of human, material, and financial resources.
- Oversee outsourced employment recruitment, customer complaint handling, facility management, real estate maintenance, and fund administration.
- Maintain proper financial records, approve payment documents within delegated authority, and ensure timely closing and balancing of accounts.
2. Human Resource (HR) Officer
- Place of Work: Branch Office (Addis Ababa / Regional)
- Reports To: Branch II Administration and Finance Officer
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- B.A. Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM), Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience, with at least 1 year served at Job Grade 6.
- Required Competencies & Skills:
- Basic knowledge of HR management principles, practices, and Ethiopian labor law.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping capabilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe custody and regular updates of personnel files and databases for branch staff and outsourced service personnel.
- Collect, compile, and summarize daily/monthly attendance and overtime records for payroll processing.
- Process, upkeep, and track employee leave records, contract renewals, terminations, and clearances.
- Receive, log, and register applications for vacant post announcements and post administrative notices.
- Assist with manpower requisition collection, performance appraisal distribution/collection, and training need assessments.
