Nib Insurance Company (S.Co.) was established in May 2002 by 658 forward-thinking shareholders with an initial authorized capital of Birr 50.0 million and an initial Paid-Up Capital of Birr 14.0 million. Initially launching its operations with just four branches in Addis Ababa and a total team of fewer than 50 employees, the company has undergone substantial financial evolution.

Today, NIC’s paid-up capital has reached Birr 250 million, and its shareholder base has expanded to over 1,014 partners. The company delivers a full suite of competitive General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance services to a diverse institutional and individual client portfolio across Ethiopia. General Assignment Information

Available Career Opportunities

Entry Level (Fresh Graduates)

1. IT Support Officer (Grade V): B.Sc. in CS, Software Eng, IT, or MIS.
2. Junior Auditor (Grade V): BA in Accounting, Finance, or Management.

Criteria: Graduates of 2017 E.C. or 2018 E.C. with a passing mark on the national exit exam.

Senior Professional Positions (Grade VII)

3. Senior Underwriting Officer: Degree in Insurance, Mgmt, Finance, Econ, Stats, or Math. Requires 4 years total experience (2 years as Underwriting/Claims Officer II).
4. Senior Ethics, Risk and Compliance Officer: Degree in Insurance, Mgmt, Accounting, or Econ. Requires 4 years of experience in risk, compliance, auditing, or underwriting.
