Position: Purchasing Officer

• Location: Addis Ababa

Skills and Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Collect pro forma from suppliers and negotiate prices prior to purchases.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to the storekeeper, maintaining high standards of quality.
• Cross-check prices from different suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Identify and distinguish legitimate suppliers from fraudulent ones.
