Jay Jay Textiles PLC invites qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant post:

Position: Junior Industrial Engineer Executive

• Location: Addis Ababa
• Required No: 3

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan and implement method improvement and standardization programs.
2. Check specific line capacity on a weekly basis.
3. Conduct operator multiskilling and maintain proper records weekly.
4. Collaborate with relevant departments to follow up on machine layouts before production starts.
5. Establish and maintain workplace arrangements as per world-class standards.
6. Prepare and distribute employee incentives accurately and punctually.
7. Maintain Area Below (AB%) and Line Turnover (LTO%) rates below 6%.
8. Perform timely line balancing on a daily basis.
9. Ensure present staff levels are consistent with system records.
10. Monitor weekly line capacity and efficiency.
11. Identify and address bottleneck operations to enhance line capacity.
12. Plan and implement operator replacements as needed.
13. Request resign replacements and support new operators to reach required performance levels.
14. Identify low-performance operators, provide targeted training, and work towards their improvement.
15. Accurately prepare incentive amounts for each line based on daily system earnings.
16. Implement and maintain world-class practices in the production area, such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean concepts, and ISO Methods & Standardization.
17. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, cleanliness procedures, and mitigate any behaviors that could increase H&S risks.

Skills and Educational Background:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in organizational roles.
