Position: Risk & Compliance Management Director


Job Objective:

The Risk & Compliance Management Director will oversee the development and implementation of risk management and compliance strategies to ensure the bank operates within regulatory requirements while effectively managing risks to protect its assets and reputation.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve all risk and compliance assessment reports and submit them to the relevant authorities.
  • Develop and enforce risk tolerance limits and credit risk rating guidelines.
  • Promote forward-looking risk management by implementing a comprehensive risk identification and management framework.
  • Monitor compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) requirements across the Bank.
  • Design and implement risk and compliance communication strategies and training programs for staff and management.
  • Act as the Bank’s liaison with external stakeholders on compliance issues, including regulatory bodies, correspondent banks, and payment associations.
  • Monitor whether the Bank’s risk exposures remain within acceptable limits.
  • Present risk and compliance assessment findings and provide strategic advice to the Board, Policy Committee, and Senior Management.
  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of cash and suspicious transaction reports.

Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s Degree or BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
  • Experience:
  • Master’s Degree: Minimum of 8 years of banking experience, including 2 years in a managerial role in Risk & Compliance.
  • BA Degree: Minimum of 10 years of banking experience, including 2 years in a managerial role in Risk & Compliance.

  • Strong risk management capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking and risk assessment skills.
  • Proven ability in team building.
