1. Senior Litigation Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of the organization’s litigation matters, including civil, criminal, and administrative cases.
2. Conduct in-depth legal research to analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and precedents relevant to litigation matters.
3. Prepare and review legal documents, including briefs, motions, pleadings, and other materials for court proceedings.
4. Represent the organization in court hearings and negotiations, presenting compelling arguments to achieve favorable outcomes.
5. Engage in settlement negotiations to protect the organization’s interests.
6. Collaborate with internal departments such as risk management, compliance, and finance for litigation support.
7. Manage external law firms and counsel when required, ensuring cost-effective legal representation.
8. Assess potential legal risks and liabilities, advising management on risk mitigation strategies.
9. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to litigation.
10. Perform related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Education:
  Degree in LLB (Bachelor of Laws).
• Experience:
  At least 2 years of relevant experience in litigation or related legal fields.
