Job Position: Senior Purchaser

Location: Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: As per the organization scale
Deadline: February 6, 2025

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess procurement requirements, prepare procurement plans, draft specifications, and initiate the procurement process.
• Assist in preparing procurement/tender documents for concerned departments.
• Check the quality of deliverables and ensure procured items meet specifications and contract agreements.
• Deal with vendor performance evaluations.
• Ensure timely procurement of goods, logistical requirements, and services by monitoring procurement progress and following up with vendors.
• Prepare procurement reports for the Administration Manager and other stakeholders.
• Maintain inventory and records for vehicles, assets, office supplies, and other items.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Career Level: Mid-Level (5 years of experience).
