Job Position: Maintenance Controller

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Controller will report to the respective Unit Manager and will be responsible for leading, coordinating, coaching, and managing Machine Specialists. The role ensures that maintenance plans are implemented effectively and efficiently to maximize equipment availability.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of the asset care plan for the packaging plant, providing expert advice and suggestions.
• Support the implementation of the asset care plan, ensuring technical competencies for execution.
• Lead the Packaging Engineering team in providing asset care and engineering support to production teams.
• Conduct and lead performance optimization initiatives to improve packaging performance.
• Evaluate continuous improvement opportunities identified by production or engineering teams.
• Build continuous improvement into team goals and conduct regular goal review sessions.
• Lead the Machine Specialists (MAS) team to foster ownership, empowerment, and teamwork.
• Develop and communicate team goals, ensuring alignment and understanding.
• Promote a high-performance culture through regular team goal reviews, one-on-one sessions, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and legal requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Education: First Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Option 1: Minimum of 3 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Option 2: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner or Machine Specialist within the company.
• General Requirement: Applicants must be Ethiopian nationals.
• Location: Addis Ababa
