About Ethiopian Press Agency
Established in 1940, the Ethiopian Press Agency is a public media enterprise and a major publisher of national newspapers, including the Amharic daily “Addis Zemen”, English daily “The Ethiopian Herald”, and weeklies in Affan Oromo (“Berissa”) and Arabic (“Al-Alem”). It also publishes the bi-monthly “Zemen” magazine. With over 300 staff members, the Agency operates as a self-sustaining institution.
