🌱 About the Program – SAFEE Shared Facility
The Sustainable Access to Finance to Enable Entrepreneurship (SAFEE) program is a $1.2 billion partnership between Kifiya and the Mastercard Foundation, aimed at supporting nearly half a million youth- and women-led MSMEs. It provides infrastructure, analytics, and tools to promote inclusive finance and responsible lending through innovative credit-risk mechanisms.
🧾 Job Summary
We are seeking a Financial and Credit Risk Analyst to strengthen our risk management practices, monitor loan portfolio performance, and support AI-driven financial dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess solid financial analysis skills, a strong risk mindset, and experience in credit portfolio tracking and modeling.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Assess liquidity deployment and portfolio risks.
- Monitor disbursement and repayment performance; classify loan provisioning.
- Identify trends and make recommendations to improve credit quality.
- Prepare financial models, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
- Monitor guarantee usage and contribute to risk-sharing evaluations.
- Track fund forecasting metrics and portfolio risk utilization.
- Ensure compliance with risk policies and relevant standards.
- Support continuous improvements in risk monitoring systems.
🎓 Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years in financial risk analysis or credit portfolio management.
✅ Required Skills
- Financial tracking and fund utilization reporting
- Credit classification & provisioning (e.g., IFRS 9)
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Risk dashboard and data visualization experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and data interpretation
