🧑‍💼 Job Summary

The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for market research, supplier analysis, risk evaluation, and strategy development to support effective sourcing of agricultural commodities and raw materials. The analyst will work closely with the procurement, quality, and finance teams to optimize supply decisions and contribute to business success.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on agricultural commodities, inputs, and by-products
• Analyze pricing trends, supply risks, and global/local market dynamics
• Develop strong networks with suppliers, farmers, and government agencies
• Monitor seasonal trends and weather patterns impacting availability and quality
• Collaborate on procurement strategies aligned with company goals
• Support supplier evaluations in coordination with the Quality Team
• Contribute to purchasing budgets and forecasts
• Present insights to management and relevant stakeholders
• Track competitor sourcing behavior and industry intelligence

🎓 Qualifications

• BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Business Management, or related fields
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement and/or agricultural sectors (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication in English
• Willingness to work extended hours if required
• Ability to provide appropriate security or collateral as required for the role
