Position 1: Welder (S1)

Location: Addis Ababa
Monthly Salary: USD 387.60

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Certified welding qualification from a recognized institution
• Minimum 5 years’ practical welding experience
• Valid Grade Auto driver’s license
• Proficiency in English and Amharic

Key Responsibilities

• General Welding Tasks (90%)
  • Respond to maintenance and repair requests requiring welding expertise in workshop and on-site
  • Cut, join, and fabricate metal components using MIG/TIG, arc welding, oxy-fuel cutting, etc.
• Safety & Risk Management (10%)
  • Contribute to site risk assessments
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations

Position 2: Head of Protocol (EO)

Location: Addis Ababa
Monthly Salary: USD 387.60

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in protocol, customs clearance, or facilitation roles
• Strong understanding of Ethiopian government procedures and policies
• Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel
• Valid 3rd-grade (or equivalent) driving license
• Flexibility for irregular hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Fluent in English and Amharic

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management
  • Supervise daily operations of the Protocol team
  • Delegate and prioritize tasks; mentor junior staff
  • Serve as primary contact for all protocol matters
• Protocol Services & Logistics
  • Oversee clearance of official goods (visas, diplomatic IDs, vehicle registrations)
  • Coordinate VIP visits and events—liaise with planners and senior leadership
  • Collaborate with HM Consul on services for British Nationals
