1. Laboratory Technician / Store Keeper

About the Job

Under immediate supervision of the Centre Manager/Clinical Head, the Laboratory Technician is responsible for specimen collection and testing, proper handling and maintenance of laboratory equipment and reagents, and management of medical supplies and laboratory stock.

Key Duties

  • Collect and label specimens per medical orders
  • Perform laboratory tests as prescribed
  • Ensure confidentiality and prioritize patient care
  • Handle and maintain lab instruments; report malfunctions
  • Manage inventory of laboratory reagents and supplies, including stock replenishment
  • Maintain up-to-date laboratory and stock records
  • Receive and inspect incoming lab reagents and store items
  • Train technicians/assistants as needed
  • Prepare monthly/annual lab and stock reports
  • Maintain proper storage and handling of drugs, office supplies, and store items

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma as Laboratory Technician
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience

2. Office Attendant

Key Duties

  • Handle incoming/outgoing correspondence
  • Deliver inter-office documents and materials
  • Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies and cleaning materials
  • Coordinate petty cash payments for minor expenses
  • Oversee office equipment functionality
  • Assist administrative staff with clerical and data entry tasks
  • Supervise cleaners and tea/coffee service staff
  • Maintain office cleanliness and service standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in any field or completed Grade 12
  • Minimum 2 years experience (for diploma holders) or 4 years (for Grade 12)

3. Gynecologist / Obstetrician

Key Duties

  • Examine patients following standard medical procedures
  • Administer and prescribe medications based on examination and test results
  • Perform ANC, delivery, PNC, voluntary surgical contraception (VSC), caesarean sections, and related procedures
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and confidentiality
  • Prepare and submit reports as required
  • Report clinical incidents timely per MSIE guidelines
  • Participate in training and research activities
  • Provide specialist advice to improve quality care at the centre

Qualifications and Experience

  • MD with specialization in Gynecology
  • Minimum 2 years experience as Gynecologist

Skills and Attributes

  • Proficient clinical competence
  • Awareness of MOH and donor guidelines
  • Knowledge of counselling concepts and quality care strategies
  • Pro-choice orientation
