Available Positions:
1. Cashier
- Department: Finance / Billing Office
- Reports to: Accounts / Billing Supervisor
- Employment Type: Full-Time

- Position Summary: The Cashier will be responsible for handling patient payments, issuing accurate receipts, maintaining transaction records, and ensuring efficient financial dealings in compliance with hospital policies. This role demands high integrity, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Key Responsibilities: Receive payments, issue receipts, balance cash register, reconcile daily collections, ensure billing accuracy, respond to patient inquiries, maintain confidentiality, support finance/billing teams, report discrepancies, and maintain a clean cashier station.
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certification in accounting, finance, or office administration is a plus.
- Minimum 1–2 years of cashiering experience, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility.
- Familiarity with billing systems, electronic payment platforms, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Basic knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes is an advantage.
- Strong mathematical and data entry skills with high accuracy.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

2. Nurse Professional
- Department: Nursing
- Reports to: Department heads (ICCU/Ward/OPD)
- Accountable to: Matron
- Salary: As per the company scale
- Job Description: Perform a full range of nursing assignments, exercising independent judgment in decision-making, interpreting and carrying out orders, and monitoring/supervising patients.
- Job Knowledge / Responsibilities (General Duties): Take vital signs, record ECG, instruct patients on device use, provide health education, follow safety/infection control policies, communicate critical lab values, prepare/sterilize materials, correlate clinical information, adhere to quality assurance, write/update nursing procedures, interpret/carry out orders, know basic drug/procedure information, adhere to hospital SOPs, verify orders, seek clarification for ambiguous/erroneous orders, notify physicians of abnormalities, exercise appropriate judgment in patient supervision, share call duty, work different shifts, participate in patient satisfaction surveys, maintain material supply, promote hospital mission, and perform related duties.
- Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice in Ethiopia by FMHACA; current and active certification from the FMHACA in Clinical nursing.
- Experience: One year of recent clinical experience preferred for degree holders.
- Systems Experience: Basic computer knowledge (Word and Excel).
- Required Skills: Microsoft Office Pack (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint), Communication, Clinical knowledge.
3. Receptionist
- Department: Patient Services / Front Office/ Reception
- Reports to: Front Office Supervisor
- Employment Type: Full-Time

- Position Summary: The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, managing administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires excellent communication skills and a welcoming demeanor.
- Key Responsibilities: Greet patients/visitors, answer/direct calls, manage check-in/check-out, schedule/confirm appointments, verify patient/insurance details, maintain patient records, provide hospital information, coordinate with staff, and ensure a clean/organized reception area.
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in administration or healthcare preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical office setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with hospital or EMR software (e.g., MeDax) preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Familiarity with cardiac care terminology and patient needs is an advantage.
