1. Quality Assurance Officer

  • About the Job: The Quality Assurance Officer will ensure excellence across all MSME training activities (in-person and digital) by designing and implementing QA frameworks, conducting systematic observation and audit processes, and translating findings into actionable insights. They will partner with Regional Coordinators, Digital Training, and Instructional Design teams to maintain rigorous standards.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • QA Framework & Tools Development: Co-create and maintain a comprehensive Quality Assurance Framework, including standardized checklists, rubrics, and audit protocols for in-person workshops and digital modules. Develop clear SOPs for QA activities.
    • Training Delivery Monitoring: Conduct regular field visits and remote audits of regional training sessions. Review digital course analytics to identify delivery gaps.
    • Data Analysis & Reporting: Synthesize quantitative and qualitative QA data into concise dashboards and narrative reports. Highlight trends, challenges, and high-performing practices; present findings and recommendations.
    • Continuous Improvement & Support: Work with Instructional Designers to refine session plans and digital assets. Coach trainers and regional teams through targeted feedback sessions.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with the Data Analyst to align QA indicators with program KPIs. Partner with the Program Admin Officer for scheduling and resource logging.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, quality management, or a related field.
    • 3+ years’ experience in quality assurance, training oversight, or monitoring & evaluation—preferably within development or educational programs.
    • Strong familiarity with adult-learning principles and competency-based training models.
    • Excellent observational and analytical skills; comfortable synthesizing diverse data sources.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a track record of delivering constructive feedback and driving behavior change.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with dashboards or BI tools.
    • Must be able to travel 30% to the regional hubs.

2. Data Analyst

  • Role Summary: The Data Analyst will transform raw program and learner data into strategic insights for continuous improvement across MSME training initiatives. This involves building and managing end-to-end data pipelines, developing interactive dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs, and partnering with various teams to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Data Integration & Management: Design and maintain automated ETL processes to consolidate data from digital platforms and field reports. Ensure data quality through validation checks.
    • Dashboard & Report Development: Build and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) tracking KPIs like course completion, engagement, and assessment scores. Generate weekly and monthly reports.
    • Program Evaluation & Experimentation Support: Collaborate to design and analyze A/B tests, pilot studies, and evaluations of new training modules. Produce statistical analyses to measure program effectiveness.
    • Insight Generation & Recommendations: Translate quantitative findings into clear, actionable insights, identifying friction points or content gaps. Present data-driven recommendations.
    • Ad-Hoc Analysis & Capacity Building: Respond to urgent data requests. Train non-technical staff on dashboard usage and data interpretation.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
    • 2+ years of experience in data analytics—ideally within education, development, or training programs.
    • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau).
    • Familiarity with Python or R for statistical analysis and automation.
    • Strong understanding of experimental design, cohort analysis, and program evaluation methodologies.

  • Role Summary: The Digital Marketing & Branding Coordinator will lead brand visibility and engagement efforts for training programs and the Qelem BDS platform. This role involves managing digital marketing campaigns, content creation, and brand governance across various channels, ensuring “Qelem by Kifiya” is positioned as a trusted and impactful platform.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Digital Campaigns & Strategy: Design and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns. Manage the marketing calendar across social media, email, webinars, and digital events.
    • Content Development & Brand Storytelling: Produce compelling digital content (articles, infographics, videos, testimonials, case studies) tailored to MSME audiences. Manage end-to-end content production, ensuring adherence to brand identity.
    • Brand Governance & Visibility: Enforce visual identity and messaging consistency. Represent Qelem in national platforms and media engagements. Collaborate with Kifiya’s central Marketing & Social Impact teams.
    • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Define and track KPIs (reach, engagement, conversion) using tools like Google Analytics. Produce monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
    • Internal Enablement & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop communication toolkits for regional teams and facilitators. Organize capacity-building sessions. Support promotion of events and product launches.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, communications, or branding—preferably in tech, education, or social enterprise sectors.
    • Proven success managing digital campaigns and content production across multiple channels.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with digital marketing tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Mailchimp). Familiar with basic graphic and video tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut). Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, email reports).
