
Shabelle Bank SC is looking for a Senior HR & Recruitment Officer to manage the full recruitment cycle and support HR functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of HR experience and a background in the banking or financial sector.
Position: Senior HR & Recruitment Officer
- Objective: To lead recruitment and selection efforts, attract and retain high-caliber talent, and support HR strategies and policies.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all recruitment activities, from job posting to offer.
- Drafting job descriptions and screening candidates.
- Managing the applicant tracking system (ATS) and talent pipelines.
- Leading the new-hire onboarding process.
- Maintaining employee files and processing lifecycle changes.
- Assisting with employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with labor laws.
- Preparing HR reports and supporting internal audits.
- Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically in recruitment.
- Sector Experience: Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong skills in recruitment and selection are required.
