About the Role:
A Senior Mechanical Engineer – Collateral Evaluator is responsible for assessing the value of mechanical, industrial, and heavy equipment offered as security for loans and other financial transactions. The role requires specialized technical knowledge to determine fair market value, forced liquidation value, and salvage value, ensuring the bank has accurate information to mitigate risk.
Senior Mechanical Engineer – Collateral Evaluator
- Place of Work: Head Office / As assigned
- Qualification: MSc, MA, or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in assessment and evaluation of manufacturing, construction, earth-moving machinery, light and heavy-duty vehicles
- At least 2 years in an engineering position within the banking industry
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent analytical and technical evaluation abilities
- Sound judgment and integrity in equipment valuation
