Position: IT Support
Job Summary
The IT Support professional will be responsible for providing customer service and technical assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The role requires troubleshooting, installation, training, and support for users in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and technical support to end-users for hardware and software.
- Diagnose, research, and resolve routine end-user issues in line with SLAs, escalating when necessary.
- Conduct daily health checks of networks, meeting devices, printers, and other office machines.
- Troubleshoot and provide guidance to users on technical issues with 24/7 availability.
- Communicate technical information to non-technical users; track and resolve incidents.
- Train users on cybersecurity, information security, and new technologies.
- Install software on new or existing devices per standard procedures.
- Assist in the setup of new equipment and devices.
- Provide meeting support inside or outside the office.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- BSc Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Language:
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Skills & Certifications (preferred):
- HCNA, A+, or related certification
- Network design, installation, and upgrading
- Network maintenance and system upgrades
- Troubleshooting & fault resolution
- Security management (firewalls, VPNs, data protection)
- User support & IT training
- Documentation and inventory management
- Project involvement and network change programs
