Position: Junior Booking Agent

Location: Addis Ababa (Applicants living near Denbel, Hayahulet, Megenagna 24, Welo Sefer, Agona, Kera, Gofa, Addisu Gebeya, Mexico, Lideta, Shola, Ferensay, Lamberet, or Bole are encouraged to apply)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Junior Booking Agent to join our Call Center Team. The role involves handling inbound and outbound customer calls, managing ride bookings, providing accurate service information, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

This position is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals passionate about customer service who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone or platform in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process ride bookings, cancellations, and modifications accurately using the reservation system.
  • Provide information on pricing, service availability, and trip details.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Use computers and smartphones efficiently to manage bookings.
  • Perform data entry and log all customer calls properly.

Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Customer Service, Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: 0 years (fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
  • Typing Speed: 25–35 words per minute recommended.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and data entry systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and customer care.
