Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) is a reputable aviation organization with a vision to provide world-class and diversified airport and air navigation business at the four designated international airports in Zambia—Kenneth Kaunda in Lusaka, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe in Ndola, Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula in Livingstone, and Mfuwe—as well as ten (10) provincial and strategic aerodromes.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Zambian citizens for the following positions:
1. Position: Senior Procurement Officer
Reporting to: Manager Procurement and Supplies
Job Purpose:
To implement the best procurement techniques to achieve optimal value for money in line with international standards and procurement regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source goods and services upon receipt of approved requisitions.
- Negotiate for best prices and prepare tender analyses.
- Manage procurement contracts and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Administer procurement guidelines and provide support to the Procurement Committee.
- Prepare draft contracts and solicitation documents.
- Enforce electronic procurement processes.
- Handle supplier queries and maintain good business relationships.
- Supervise subordinates and assist in procurement administration.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 O’level credits, including English and Mathematics.
- Full CIPS qualification or Degree in Purchasing & Supply or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years practical procurement experience.
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
2. Position: Procurement Officer
Reporting to: Senior Procurement Officer
Job Purpose:
To support the procurement process by sourcing, negotiating, and monitoring procurement activities in line with approved guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Source goods and services upon requisitions.
- Negotiate prices and recommend favorable suppliers.
- Expedite outstanding orders and maintain purchase registers.
- Prepare procurement minutes and payment instructions.
- Monitor project implementation and evaluate supplier performance.
- Enforce electronic procurement processes.
- Assist senior staff with administrative duties.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 O’level credits, including English and Mathematics.
- Full CIPS qualification or Degree in Purchasing & Supply or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years practical procurement experience.
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
3. Position: Procurement Assistant
Reporting to: Senior Procurement Officer
Job Purpose:
To assist in procurement of goods and services and ensure effective support to client departments in line with ZACL’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market surveys prior to procurement.
- Carry out procurement activities per legal guidelines and company policy.
- Conduct tender opening and closing sessions.
- Evaluate bids based on cost, quality, and timelines.
- Maintain procurement records, files, and reports.
- Use procurement MIS for accountability and decision-making.
- Monitor supplier performance and prepare status reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 O’level credits, including English and Mathematics.
- CIPS Level III or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in procurement.
4. Position: Ground Services Equipment Operator
Job Purpose:
To efficiently operate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) such as apron buses, baggage tractors, pushback vehicles, aerobridges, and related machinery to support aircraft during ground handling operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily equipment checks and ensure serviceability.
- Safely operate aerobridges, pushback vehicles, apron buses, and other GSE.
- Tow baggage and cargo within stipulated timelines.
- Operate water bowsers and toilet service units according to international standards.
- Ensure GSE cleanliness and proper storage after use.
- Monitor, report, and maintain safety and security standards on the ramp.
- Report hazards, near-misses, and incidents promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 O’level credits, including English and Mathematics.
- Tertiary education in any field from a reputable institution.
- Holder of Class CE driver’s license (minimum 2 years).
- Certified Airside Driver’s Permit (mandatory).
- GEO Level 3 Training Certificate (added advantage).
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an airside driver.
