๐งพ Job Summary
The Customer Service Officer I is responsible for providing front-office customer service support at the branch level. The role involves handling account maintenance, payment and collection transactions, responding to customer inquiries, and managing both cash and non-cash customer requests in line with the bankโs policies and procedures.
๐ Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide efficient front-office customer service at the branch
- Handle account maintenance activities
- Process payment and collection transactions
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve basic issues
- Handle cash and non-cash transactions accurately
- Ensure compliance with bank procedures and service standards
๐ Qualification Requirements
Education:
- Bachelorโs Degree in:
- Banking and Insurance
- Accounting
- Management
- Economics
- Business Administration
- or other related fields
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in a bank
๐ Required Competencies & Skills
- Good understanding of basic financial products and services
- Knowledge of bank accounting systems and procedures
- Ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve routine issues
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Good working knowledge of core banking systems
- Accounting knowledge
