Dashen Bank – Adama District is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Customer Service Officer (Maker/Checker) for various branches under the district.
Job Summary
Customer Service Officer (Maker):
Responsible for front-office customer support at the branch, including:
- Account maintenance
- Processing payment and collection transactions
- Handling cash and non-cash transactions
- Responding to customer requests and enquiries
- Delivering frontline customer service in line with bank policies
Customer Service Officer (Checker):
Responsible for authorization and verification of front-office activities, including:
- Checking/approving account maintenance, payments, and collections
- Authorizing cash and non-cash transactions
- Ensuring compliance with procedures and authorization limits
- Responding to customer enquiries and supporting branch operations
About You
Academic & Professional Qualifications
- BA Degree in Marketing Management, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Functional / Technical Competencies
- Good understanding of financial products and services
- Solid knowledge of bank accounting and operational procedures
- Ability to handle client enquiries and provide appropriate solutions
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and good command of the core banking system
