π§Ύ Job Summary
The Finance & Administration Department Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the financial, accounting, investment, and share management activities of the institution. The position also oversees human resources, property administration, and general services, ensuring sound financial management systems, compliance, and effective staff administration.
π Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, supervise, and control financial, accounting, and investment activities
- Formulate and implement financial and investment policies
- Ensure effective accounting, fund management, and financial reporting systems
- Ensure accuracy, validity, and integrity of financial records and payments
- Oversee human resource management functions including recruitment, placement, transfers, performance management, compensation, benefits, training, and discipline
- Coordinate and manage property administration and general office services
- Develop departmental policies and operating procedures and implement them upon approval
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements
- Provide strategic financial and administrative support to management
π Qualification Requirements
Education:
- Bachelorβs Degree (minimum) in:
- Accounting & Finance
- Accounting
- Management
- or other related business fields
- Degree must be from a recognized higher learning institution
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years total work experience
- At least 4 years in a related managerial or supervisory position within the financial sector
- Strong experience in accounting and finance functions
- Comprehensive knowledge of microfinance business operations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of adaptability and leadership ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
