Job Summary
The Logistics & Procurement Intern supports logistics and procurement operations at the MTI Addis Ababa Office. The role provides hands-on exposure to supply chain, procurement, asset management, and office logistics in compliance with MTI and donor policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support supply chain activities including planning, sourcing, transportation, shipping, warehousing, and asset management
- Assist procurement processes in compliance with MTI and donor policies
- Support vendor sourcing, price negotiation, and supplier database development
- Track vendor contracts and support timely vendor payments
- Maintain accurate records of organizational equipment and assets
- Assist with inventory monitoring to verify condition and proper use
- Support office management activities, including purchasing office supplies
- Assist with safety and security-related tasks as assigned
- Promote and uphold MTI safeguarding policies, including PSEA, child & vulnerable adult protection, and harassment-free workplace standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical & Working Conditions
- Occasional travel to health facilities with basic living conditions may be required
Required Qualifications
Education
- BA Degree in Logistics & Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related social science fields from a recognized institution
Eligibility Criteria
- Female applicants only
- Graduates of 2017 or 2018 Ethiopian Calendar
- Minimum GPA: 3.7 and above
- Zero (0) years of work experience required
