πŸ”Ή Available Positions

1️⃣ Shelter Management Officer

Purpose: Oversee and coordinate shelter interventions for IDPs, including site-level shelter construction, rehabilitation, and allocation, while ensuring humanitarian standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree: 2+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree: 4+ years relevant experience
  • Fields: Social Sciences, Humanitarian Studies, Development Studies, Disaster Risk Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shelter assessments and identify gaps/needs
  • Identify and prioritize IDP households for shelter support
  • Provide oversight of construction/rehabilitation activities
  • Coordinate with site committees, authorities, and partners
  • Strengthen community-based shelter management
  • Ensure PGI (protection, gender, age, disability) integration
  • Refer vulnerable households for additional services

Required Skills: Community engagement, mobilization


2️⃣ Field Level Cashier

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Diploma: 4+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s: 2+ years relevant experience

Required Skills: Accounting
Competencies: High integrity, accuracy, and financial discipline


3️⃣ Woreda Officer – Itang Special Woreda

Qualifications & Experience:

  • First Degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Law, Development Studies, or related
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in community mobilization, facilitation, or civic engagement projects
  • Experience in Gambella Region/Itang Special Woreda is an advantage

Language Requirement: Fluency in Nuer and/or Anuak is ESSENTIAL

Competencies & Skills:

  • Facilitation, communication, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse communities and authorities
  • Knowledge of local socio-cultural & political context
  • Commitment to gender equality, human rights, and social justice
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email)
  • Integrity, flexibility, proactive problem-solving
