π Position: Branch Manager I
Location: Hawassa
π About the Role
The Branch Manager I is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the overall banking activities of the branch office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with bank policies, procedures, regulatory directives, and country laws
- Leading branch sales and business development efforts
- Driving customer service excellence and operational efficiency
- Preparing and submitting annual budgets, work plans, activity and progress reports
- Participating in community engagements and maintaining strong relationships with the local business community
π Required Qualification
- Bachelorβs Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
πΌ Required Experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of professional banking experience
- At least one (1) year as Customer Service Manager or in an equivalent role
π Required Competencies & Skills
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of modern management techniques
- Ability to distribute and manage sales targets effectively
- Knowledge of commercial business law and banking regulations
