1. Senior Accountant
Location: Ethiopia (Office-based)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements (Ethiopian standards & IFRS)
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws; prepare VAT, withholding, and income tax reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closings
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations
- Supervise junior accounting staff
- Coordinate internal/external audits
- Monitor cash flow and budgeting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred
- 5–8 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and IFRS
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (Peachtree, QuickBooks, SAP)

2. Junior Accountant
Location: Ethiopia
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting data entry and reconciliation
- Assist in accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial closings
- Prepare invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
- Assist senior accountants in generating financial reports
- Support compliance with accounting policies
- Collaborate with teams to resolve financial discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior internship or entry-level accounting experience is a plus
