Plan International Ethiopia is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We are currently seeking highly qualified professionals for several positions to support our programs across Ethiopia.


Management & Specialist Roles

1. Education Manager

  • Role: Oversee an EU INTPA-funded project in the Amhara Region, focusing on integrated programming, technical guidance, and partner coordination.
  • Qualifications: MA/MSc in Education, Pedagogy, Sociology, Project Management, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in humanitarian/development management; 5 years specifically in Education programs (Refugees/IDPs/Nexus).

2. Programme Insights Lead

  • Role: Lead Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) and data management to ensure program quality.
  • Qualifications: Master’s degree in M&E, Statistics, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in MERL/Data Management with 3 years in a managerial position. Proficiency in SPSS, Power BI, or DHIS2 is required.

3. Protection Specialist

  • Role: Design protection strategies, provide technical guidance on Child Protection/GBV, and lead proposal development.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Social Work, Psychology, Law, or Human Rights.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience with 3 years at a senior level in protection programming.
