1. Water & Irrigation Expert
Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract
Number of Positions: 1
Duty Station: Kawo Koyisha Project
Main Duties:
- Identify, study, and design small-scale irrigation and water supply schemes
- Supervise all irrigation and water supply activities
- Produce designs and bills of quantities for irrigation & water works
- Implement and supervise flood protection structures along river banks
- Produce operational plans and organize regular reports
Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc Degree in Irrigation Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field, or Advanced Diploma
- Minimum 3 years’ experience for Degree holders, 6 years for Diploma holders, in irrigation and water works
- NGO experience is advantageous
- Good command of spoken and written English

Main Duties:
- Handle check payments and collections
- Prepare check payment vouchers and checks
- Maintain updated registers and balances
- Reconcile bank statements with registers
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Maintain accounts using accounting software
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Accounting or above
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in accounting
- NGO experience is advantageous
- Good command of spoken and written English
Required Skills: Accounting, Computer literacy, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree Accounting)
