Job Summary
As a Junior Structural Engineer, you will support the development of engineering design tools. This role combines technical structural knowledge with software-oriented thinking to help remove barriers in modern construction material specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Tool Development: Develop and refine Excel-based engineering calculators ensuring high technical accuracy and user-centric design.
- Compliance: Work strictly in accordance with company policies, international guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain proactive and effective communication across the global SPEC Toolbox team to ensure project alignment.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- Option 1: M.Sc. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Entry-level).
- Option 2: B.Sc. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills & Attributes
- Software Mastery: Strong proficiency in Excel spreadsheet development (formulae, logic, and layout).
- Engineering Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of structural design codes and standards.
- Core Competencies: * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
