External Vacancy Announcement: Inspiretech Engineering

Inspiretech Engineering is a forward-thinking technology firm in Ethiopia specializing in IoT, AI, and smart hardware solutions. We are dedicated to fundamentally transforming lives through cutting-edge engineering and are currently looking for a talented Junior Electrician to join our technical team in Addis Ababa.

Position: Junior Electrician

Role Summary: You will support the design, assembly, and installation of electronic and electrical systems, ranging from low-voltage IoT devices to complex wiring configurations. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical graduate to work in a fast-paced climate-tech and hardware-focused environment.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 0 – 2 years (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (with potential travel required).
Employment Type: Full-time.

Key Responsibilities

Operations: Operate and monitor machine configurations and ensure smooth technical processes.
Technical Tasks: Conduct hands-on electrical wiring, soldering, and hardware troubleshooting.
Design & Analysis: Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting and report technical issues; assist in routine machinery maintenance.
Safety: Adhere to standard ESD guidelines, safe electrical wiring practices, and company safety procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, and harnessing.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to high-tech industrial environments.

Preferred Skills

Experience with low-voltage systems, networking, or automation equipment.
Familiarity with IoT, smart systems, or technical specification preparation.
