Position: Junior Electrician
Role Summary: You will support the design, assembly, and installation of electronic and electrical systems, ranging from low-voltage IoT devices to complex wiring configurations. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical graduate to work in a fast-paced climate-tech and hardware-focused environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 0 – 2 years (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
- Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (with potential travel required).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Operate and monitor machine configurations and ensure smooth technical processes.
- Technical Tasks: Conduct hands-on electrical wiring, soldering, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Design & Analysis: Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting and report technical issues; assist in routine machinery maintenance.
- Safety: Adhere to standard ESD guidelines, safe electrical wiring practices, and company safety procedures.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, and harnessing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to high-tech industrial environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with low-voltage systems, networking, or automation equipment.
- Familiarity with IoT, smart systems, or technical specification preparation.
