TradeEthiopia Group, a prominent player in the Import & Export sector, is seeking dynamic, sales-driven, and customer-oriented individuals to join our Sales Department. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to build a career in international trade and strategic sales.


Position: Sales Officer

Work Unit: Sales Department

Accountable To: Sales Manager

Experience: Zero (0) Years (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply)

Role Summary

The Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and implementing strategies to increase company reach. You will work closely with both the marketing and product development teams to ensure our offerings remain competitive and meet current market needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships with customers and handle referrals.
  • Lead Generation: Call potential customers to explain products and encourage purchases.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze competitors’ products to identify features, benefits, and market shortfalls.
  • Collaboration: Work with the marketing department to reach target audiences and provide feedback to product developers for improvements.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales, customer appointments, and complaints.
  • Customer Support: Answer inquiries and escalate complex issues to relevant departments.

Candidate Profile

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English (speaking and writing) is required. Proficiency in other local or international languages is a plus.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of sales strategies and industry regulations.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse cultures.
  • Negotiation: Strong consultative sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical: Skills in Sales Analytics and Performance Reporting to track targets.
  • Soft Skills: High work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
