Nib Insurance Company (NIC), established in 2002, provides both General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance Services. The company has grown significantly, with its paid-up capital now reaching Birr 250 million. NIC is currently seeking qualified professionals for the following permanent positions at its Head Office in Addis Ababa.

Open Positions

1. Junior Procurement Officer

• Education: Level IV (Diploma) with COC in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Management, Accounting, or related fields.
• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
• Grade: IV.

2. Auditor II

• Education: BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, or related fields.
• Experience: 4 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years must be as an Auditor I or in a similar position.
• Grade: VII.

3. Branch Manager I

• Education: BA/BSc Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Experience: 5 years of relevant experience, including specific senior-level experience in underwriting, claims, or office head roles.
• Grade: VIII.

4. Branch Manager III

• Education: BA/BSc Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Experience: 7 years of relevant experience, of which 1 year must be in a Branch Manager II position or similar.
• Grade: X.

5. Investment and Shareholders Accounts Division Head

• Education: BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, or related fields.
• Experience: 7 years of relevant experience, including 3 years as a Senior Investment Officer or Senior Accountant in investment-related areas.
• Grade: X.

6. Branch Manager IV

• Education: BA Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Experience: 8 years of relevant experience after degree, of which 1 year must be in a Branch Manager III position or similar.
• Grade: XI.

• Terms of Employment: Permanent after successful completion of a probationary period.
