Wegagen Bank S.C., one of the leading private commercial banks in Ethiopia, is seeking qualified and energetic fresh graduates for the following position within its Hawassa District branches.

Position: Graduate Trainee

• Job Purpose: To support the Bank’s effective service delivery to customers and ensure customers are served with due care and maximum efficiency.
• Locations (Hawassa District): Werka, Bensa Daye, Adola, Shinshicho, and Jinka Branches.

Qualification & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Marketing, or other Banking business-related fields.
• GPA Requirement: CGPA of 2.75 and above.
• Graduation Year: Only 2025 & 2026 graduates are eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: Must be 25 years old or younger (Age ≤ 25).
• Exit Exam: National Exit Exam result of 50 or above.
• Experience: Zero experience required (Fresh Graduates).
• Certification: COC (for Level IV) is mandatory.
• Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of Shari’ah law and principles pertaining to Interest Free Banking Operations is required and compulsory.
