Open IT Infrastructure Positions

1. Senior Database Administrator

• Education: First Degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related fields of study.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of active, relevant database administration experience, preferably within a banking or enterprise-scale environment.
• Core Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain multi-tiered enterprise relational database management systems.
  • Actively monitor database health, transaction latency, and infrastructure availability metrics.
  • Execute advanced SQL query tuning and indexing optimization routines.
  • Direct backup validation schedules, system restoration protocols, and database recovery testing.
  • Implement and maintain baseline High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) structures, including database patching and secure platform migrations.

2. Principal Database Administrator

• Education: First Degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related fields of study.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive, advanced database administration experience, featuring clear exposure to managing high-transaction financial database architectures.
• Core Responsibilities:
  • Strategically oversee the installation, deployment architecture, patching cycles, and structural migrations of the bank’s production databases.
  • Lead capacity planning assessments, complex performance tuning, and structural index optimizations.
  • Maximize business continuity frameworks by executing scheduled disaster recovery (DR) drills and failover testing.
  • Coordinate deeply with cross-functional network infrastructure, core application development, and security operations centers (SOC).
  • Enforce strict database security perimeters, manage user authorization mapping, and maintain clean audit trail configurations.
