External Vacancy Announcement: Nib Insurance Company (S.Co.)

Nib Insurance Company (NIC), established in 2002, provides both General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance Services. The company has grown significantly, with its paid-up capital now reaching Birr 250 million. NIC is currently seeking qualified professionals for the following permanent positions at its Head Office in Addis Ababa.

Open Positions

1. Junior Procurement Officer

Education: Level IV (Diploma) with COC in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Management, Accounting, or related fields.
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
Grade: IV.

2. Auditor II

Education: BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, or related fields.
Experience: 4 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years must be as an Auditor I or in a similar position.
Grade: VII.

3. Branch Manager I

Education: BA/BSc Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
Experience: 5 years of relevant experience, including specific senior-level experience in underwriting, claims, or office head roles.
Grade: VIII.

4. Branch Manager III

Education: BA/BSc Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
Experience: 7 years of relevant experience, of which 1 year must be in a Branch Manager II position or similar.
Grade: X.

5. Investment and Shareholders Accounts Division Head

Education: BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, or related fields.
Experience: 7 years of relevant experience, including 3 years as a Senior Investment Officer or Senior Accountant in investment-related areas.
Grade: X.

6. Branch Manager IV

Education: BA Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
Experience: 8 years of relevant experience after degree, of which 1 year must be in a Branch Manager III position or similar.
Grade: XI.

General Information

Terms of Employment: Permanent after successful completion of a probationary period.
Salary and Benefits: As per the Company’s salary scale and benefit packages.
Place of Work: Head Office, Addis Ababa.
Deadline: May 19, 2026 (within seven working days from the announcement).
