Lion International Bank (also known as Anbesa Bank), established on October 2, 2006, and operational since January 6, 2007, is inviting competent and qualified applicants to fill several open positions. The bank has announced multiple career opportunities, ranging from entry-level positions for fresh graduates to experienced branch management roles.

Open Positions & Requirements

1. Trainee Banker (For Fresh Graduates)

Educational Qualification: B.A. Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Management, Economics, or related fields.
Eligibility Criteria: Only 2025 & 2026 Graduates with a Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.00 and above who have successfully passed the National Exit Exam.
Work Experience: Not required (0 years of experience).
Place of Assignment: Humera City Branches, Dansha Branch, Adi Remets Branch, Korarit Branch, May Kadra Branch, May Gaba Branch, Kafta Sub Branch, Ketema Nigus Sub Branch, and Baeker Sub Branch.

2. Senior Customer Service Officer I

Educational Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Management, or related fields.
Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant banking experience.
Place of Work: Humera City Branches, Dansha Branch, Adi Remets Branch, Korarit Branch, May Kadra Branch, May Gaba Branch, Kafta Sub Branch, and Baeker Sub Branch.

3. Resident Auditor

Educational Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Management, or related fields.
Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant banking experience.
Place of Work: Humera City Branches, Dansha Branch, Adi Remets Branch, Korarit Branch, May Kadra Branch, and May Gaba Branch.

4. Sub Branch Manager

Educational Qualification: First (BA) or Second (MA/MSc) Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Management, or a related field.
Work Experience: 5 years of relevant banking experience for First Degree holders OR 4 years for Second Degree holders, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Salary: As per the Bank’s standard salary scale.
Place of Work: Kafta Sub Branch, Ketema Nigus Sub Branch, and Baeker Sub Branch.

5. Branch Manager I

Educational Qualification: B.A. Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Management, or a related field.
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant banking experience, with at least 1 year served in a supervisory position.
Place of Work: Humera City Branches, Dansha Branch, Adi Remets Branch, Korarit Branch, May Kadra Branch, and May Gaba Branch.
